Built in 1890 with the purpose of being a firehouse, the City of Belleville owned the property for over 50 years and used it as such.
In 1940, the building was sold and has been operated commercially since that time.

112 Front Street has been home to many distinguished law firms and it is with great pride the Hurley Law LLP now resides in the prominent piece of historical downtown Belleville architecture.

For the past 75 years, lawyers have been passionately practicing law from this address. Orman Butler was among one of the first before joining forces with Robert Graydon to form Butler and Graydon Law Firm. In 1991, Patrick Hurley joined forces with
Mr. Graydon where they practiced law until Justice Graydon’s Judicial Appointment to the Ontario Court of Justice.

In 2006, Patrick acquired the partnership along with his sister Joanne Hurley and commenced practicing law
as Hurley and Williams with offices in both Picton and Belleville. In 2014, Hurley Law LLP was formed where Patrick and Joanne
will continue to be distinguished by the excellence of their work as they represent a wide variety of clients including individuals
and professional organizations at all levels of the courts as well as various administrative boards and tribunals.
